Books

My biggest worry, apart from whether I'm still on Shelby Hunt's Christmas card list, is getting my books published. As my material rarely troubles the best-sellers list, publishers rarely trouble with me. Routledge has been very supportive, though even they have their limits, as the Missing Book imbroglio attests.

So important are my books to me that I even make live appearances to promote them.

By hook or by crook, however, I've managed to produce twenty books all told: twelve solo authored, six co-edited and two co-authored. There's also a couple in the Big Plans pipeline.

I also publish the occasional article but these are usually spin-offs from -- or preparatory work for -- the books, as are the journal special issues I edit from time to time.
